These terms cover your use of the Feels app and this website. By downloading, installing, or using Feels, you agree to them.
Subscriptions
Feels includes one free entry. After that, creating new entries requires an auto-renewing subscription, purchased through the Apple App Store. Reading, editing, and deleting entries you have already written is always free and never expires — including if a subscription lapses.
If a subscription includes a free trial, you'll be charged automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel before it does — the app and the App Store listing will state the trial length and price at the time of purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically for the same length and price unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase and at each renewal.
Billing and cancellation
All billing, renewal, and cancellation is handled by Apple through the App Store, not by the developer. To manage or cancel a subscription, go to your device's Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Refunds are governed by Apple's own policies; the developer cannot issue refunds directly.
Apple's EULA
Use of the app is also governed by Apple's standard End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"), incorporated into these terms by reference and available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where these terms and the Standard EULA conflict on matters within Apple's purview (such as licensing mechanics), the Standard EULA controls.
Your entries are yours
You own everything you write in Feels. The developer claims no licence over your entries, cannot read them, and does not use them for any purpose — the privacy page sets out where they are stored.
Acceptable use
Use Feels only for its intended purpose — recording your own emotional entries. Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app; don't use it to store or transmit unlawful content; don't attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to any systems behind it.
Not a medical device
Feels is a personal journal. It is not a medical device, and it does not provide diagnosis, treatment, therapy, or any form of clinical or crisis service. Nothing in the app is medical advice, and it should not be relied on as a substitute for professional care.
If you are in crisis, or in danger of harming yourself or someone else, please contact your local emergency services immediately, or a crisis line in your area.
No warranty
Feels is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The developer does not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defect will be corrected.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from or related to your use of Feels, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. The developer's total liability for any claim arising from these terms will not exceed the amount you paid for the app or subscription in the twelve months before the claim, if any.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live, and Apple’s own App Store terms continue to apply to your purchase.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
